Dr R A Gilbert is a retired antiquarian bookseller, still active as an author. He has, over a period of forty years, written and lectured extensively on the Golden Dawn and its members - notably A.E. Waite and W. Wynn Westcott - and on many aspects of Western Esotericism. He lives with his family in Somerset in the West of England.
